By Wednesday 19th November you need to research at least 4 film production companies. look at page 37 of your booklet for examples. You need to explain the connotation of the logo and then look at the types of film they produce and distribute.

Paramount's eye catching logo shows the audience a scenic view of the top of some large mountains this according to the industry represents the 'Majestic Mountain' which evolved from a sketch, the Ben Lomond Mountain in Utah is thought to be the inspiration, this for start connotes that Paramount is a large, powerful company, the way that the word 'Paramount' is on the tip of the highest mountain suggests they are the 'top' in the business. The vast amount of starts shaped in a circle connotes their quality as a company and how they are well rounded brand. The scenic background suggest that the films produced and distributed by Paramount are very detailed and of high quality. The colours of the logo are also very majestic and earthly, connoting the natural view from the brand and suggesting they focus on the smallest details within their films.
